I am using this as a quick storage area for current craft or sewing projects I am working on. It pulls out smoothly and gives extra work surface too

The measurements indicated to me that it would be an exact fit under my desk. However, with the addition of the hardware, the tray becomes too wide. I used my miter saw to cut two inches off the tray so it would fit. Perhaps, listing measurements with and without hardware would mitigate further problems for other customers.
