Podiums

The podium is the main focal point for all of our formal persentations. We received many positive comments today after our student awards and scholarship ceremony.

We have been using this metal lectern for a couple of years,[...]Our insturctors love them.. They like that they can personalize them because of the metal and if they need to lean on them they will hold up. This product is a must have if you are standing and teaching all day, it is durable and priced right

I am a classroom teacher, so I appreciate having the extra work space for lectures and other activities and then being able to roll the podium easily out of the way when necessary. The varied options to adjust the height of the podium and tilt of the tabletops are convenient, but the knobs, esp those for the tabletops, can only be tightened so much so that any weight applied to the tops causes them to slide or shift. This can be dangerous for laptops or for anything else of value placed on the podium. For example, on the first day, when students tried stapling papers at the podium, the top slipped and everything on it fell to the floor. So, now we know not to apply any unnecessary pressure, although just daily use causes the tops to slide.

This is a beautiful unit, but came without a rechargeable battery pack nor power supply/charger. Overall, this is a nice, solid, easy to assemble unit. I like it

I use this podium in my classroom every day, and on Sundays with my adult class. It goes where I want to be when I'm teaching. I use it for my notes, as well as when I use my computer and projector. It works the way I want it to work. GREAT!!
